Women in Tech – First Week

Finally, the time came for the last project which has been provided by client – Future. The brief we were given is about women in tech, which I’ve found quite interesting since this is one of the things that I was thinking about going into when I was a teenager.

At first, we changed our contacts as I created a group chat on Aula. We all agreed to use WhatsApp for our day to day communication and zoom for meetings. I have also created a Trello board for our time management and sharing all material and findings in one place since I was a designated team leader. I was happy with that idea, but I actually felt already that I have a strong team by itself, so on this part I knew that some of the guidance that I might have to give for some teams, with this team being strong enough there’s not going to be a need.

After provided with brief and a team, I was quite happy as it seemed like a serious team to get and I hoped that some of the things won’t happen as with the previous brief. We were given this brief on 18th of February and me with my team decided to just start looking around and research some things about this topic without coming up with any specific ideas at first as we have wanted to explore all the possible options etc before having a team meeting, which we all agreed to have on 23rd of February.
